Roxborough Couple Makes A Splash

By: KYW's Michelle Durham

8/16/2005

A Roxborough woman and her boyfriend were arrested by Plymouth Township police after authorities say they stole credit cards from parked cars at a local swim club and then used them at two local shopping centers.

According to Detective Rocco Wack of the Plymouth Township police, Donna Lagradi was babysitting two children whose parents belonged to the Plymouth Swim Club.

While she would watch the kids, Wack says Lagradi's boyfriend, Andrew Price, would break into cars, stealing credit cards and other items.

Then the pair would use the cards at local stores, sometimes with the children. Wack says they're facing a list of charges:

"They've been charged with forgery, identity theft, access to vice fraud, related charges, and theft from motor vehicles."

Wack says at least $5,000 in unauthorized charges were made between August 7th and August 14th -- but he says there could be more victims.

If you believe you were one, you can contact Plymouth Township police at (610) 279-1900. Detectives Rocco Wack and Bob Heagar are in charge of the case.
